Family Fun

There's a wide variety of entertainment suitable for all ages to enjoy including kart racing at Road America, outdoor concerts at City Park, dirt track racing at the fairgrounds, swimming at the Aquatic Center and a number of events and festivals throughout the year. We have listed some of the more popular events below.

Irishman's Walk

Whether you are Irish by heritage or just have a bit of Irish in your heart, you are welcome to join in the Irishman's Walk which is always held on March 17 (no matter what day of the week it is). Walkers trek westward on Eastern Avenue ending at 52 Stafford in downtown Plymouth, where the festivities continue with Irish food, live music and beverages.

Mill Street Festival

Enjoy live music and entertainment on four stages, horse and buggy rides (at the Plymouth Library), over 100 vendors and downtown merchants, food and beverage vendors and kids activities. Mill Street closes to vehicular traffic so you can comfortably stroll down Mill Street and enjoy Plymouth's largest festival.

German Night

Foot-stomping German music is featured including the Plymouth High School Junge Kammeraden Band and the Plymouth Municipal Band as well as a guest band. Spannferkel (roast pig) and other tasty food are available. Event will be held at Plymouth City Park (Grove Street near the Plymouth Aquatic Center). Come early for the food and drink. Stay late for the music and dancing.

Cheese Capital Jazz Crawl for the Arts

This live jazz extravaganza attracts thousands of music lovers every year to downtown Plymouth. It features multiple bands (trios, swing, quartets, etc) at venues scattered throughout the city. A jazz lovers paradise!


Join us for some good ol' fashioned Gemuetlichkeit (good cheer) "Plymouth-style" with music and dancing, German and American cuisine, a biergarten, bake sale, kid's art workshops and games with prizes. Sink your teeth into tasty Spanferkel (pork), Johnsonville brats, hamburgers, German potato salad, baked beans, sauerkraut, desserts, and more.  Takeouts available. Free admission.

Sheboygan County Fair

Family entertainment abounds at the Sheboygan County Fair, located in Plymouth. Ride carnival rides, pet animals, play games and enjoy live entertainment. Don't forget to save room for fair favorites such as cotton candy, carmel apples, corn dogs, mozzarella sticks, corn on the cob and of course cream puffs!

Holiday Gathering /Christmas Parade

To kick off the holiday season, don't miss the Holiday Gathering/Christmas Parade featuring Santa himself. The parade is held Friday night after Thanksgiving. Whatever the's all here in Plymouth!
