2024 All Member Luncheon

Many new and familiar faces gathered on Thursday, October 10th for our 2024 All Member Luncheon at Amore Banquet Hall.

A brief welcome was given by Plymouth Chamber Executive Director Mary Hauser, before attendees were ushered to grab lunch. The lunch was a ham or turkey sandwich, noodle salad, fruit and cookies. Attendees enjoyed the delicious lunch while networking with each other at their table.

June Paris, Chamber Board President and owner of Midstar Printing & Marketing Services started off the program by introducing the rest of the Chamber Board Members and their respective companies.

 

Next up was Tim Blakeslee, City of Plymouth Administrator/Utilities Manager. Tim gave an update of what’s happening in Plymouth, touching on the newly hired K-9 and officer, Mill Pond Dam project updates and how the city now has a newsletter.

Scott Stier, the new Superintendent of Plymouth School District was the next to present. He explained that he is from West Bend but has family ties throughout this area. He also gave an overview of the new changes he would like to implement to further enhance the district’s three pillars of excellence which are Academic Excellence for the 21st Century, Extracurricular Activities, Community Engagement and Financial Responsibility.

 

Then, Jackie Pottratz, owner of Allechant Boutique and member of the Downtown Arts and Merchants (D.A.M.) shared what the group has been up to. This includes their Mill Sweet Stroll on October 19th, their continuous fundraising for the Dog Park improvements and their Charming Downtown Christmas event coming up.

Mary Hauser was then back on stage and gave updates on everything happening at the Chamber. Upcoming member events include the Morning Power Hour on October 24th with Courtney Booth, Certified Leadership Development Coach and Trainer, of Booth Leadership, Business Tour Nights on November 13th at Shell Plastics and our Business Connections/Holiday Member Social on December 11th. Other exciting community events include the Pumpkin Walk and Food Pantry Stock on Friday, November 1st and the Holiday Gathering/Christmas Parade on Friday, November 29th. She also explained how the 2025 Visitor Guide Ad Contract and 2025 Sponsorship Opportunities are now available. Finally, she shared how the first Chamber Travel Trip to Italy was a success. Our final speaker was Alayne Krause, Sheboygan County Administrator. She shared the 2025 preliminary budget for the county, key accomplishments such as the plan to enhance the Plymouth Trail and how the county is using the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
